Not knowing how to pray isn’t an occasion to tune into current events (i.e. what is seen – 2Cor.4:18), it’s a time to get in tune with the Spirit of God (Rom.8:26). Only He has the words of life (John 6:68).

If Jesus, a man of perfect faith, who was one with the Father, refused to act without specific guidance from above (John 5:19), how much more should we be reliant on the direction of His in-dwelling Spirit. For those who would point to the Bible as our sole source for divine guidance, consider that Jesus was the Word (John 1:1-14).
