When you grow up in your father’s cornfield, you can convince yourself that you know something about farming. But over time, a lack of good seed, and neglect of the soil, take their toll. With each successive generation expecting more, and less willing to replenish the land, a once fruitful plain slips into barrenness. Such is the story of America, where we’ve scoffed at the wisdom of those who came before us, and find ourselves reaping of the hybrid seed we’ve chosen to sow.
Thought for the Day – Fruitful Plains & Barren Lands

We forgot our history, heritage and legacy and now we have become stagnate, sterile and incapable of reproducing after a Yahweh kind.
True, Bryan. Both in the physical labor sense and in the spiritual sense. I often lament when I drive through Ohio and other parts of the Midwest, along with Idaho, and other once-fertile growing fields that are now full of cookie-cutter houses that America is rapidly losing her heart and soul.
There is a reason the Mid-west is called ‘The Heartland’, not having to do with the fact it is, geographically, central to the nation. The U.S. and the world is, and will continue to reap the dire repercussions.
Amen Sandy!
